So glad to find this forum......
hey ppl. just bought c230K-C5 manual trans. on Valentine's Day...
it's been only few days but i began to fall in love with my car!!!
btw, 1 quick question to all...i didn't get CD changer but the salesperson will hook me up for $600 bucks.....wat cha all think about this? lemme know plz........radio is good but all my cds are sitting on the desk....=(

$600 is not that bad for a changer. If not you can go with a RF unit. I put a RF unit in my car, 10 disc sony changer, out the door for $300 installed. But then again I use a radio station, if you dont like that then go for the stock.

Unless you are a die-hard DIY'er, $600 for a stock CD changer + installation + MB warranty doesn't sound bad at all. Anything aftermarket will lack the ability to be controlled by the integrated control system (i.e. steering wheel controls won't work with the changer).
And congrats on your new car! Good choice!

Toki, welcome aboard. I think $600 (installed) is a fair price for the CD changer... less than what many have paid, and you don't have the hassle of doing it yourself, and a dealer installed unit will be covered under warranty.
