Empty fuel tank = power loss ?

Guys its this issue troubling me for some time so i decided to bring it up. Here's the thing: Whenever I full my fuel tank, I realize that before filling it my acceleration was not as fast it was with a full fuel tank! Does the ECU handles differently the amount injected considering the level of the fuel tank ?

Not in any car I've ever driven, including the C230. Fuel flow should be consistent until the tank is empty, then you'd have major power loss!

hmmm I've read somewhere that when the fuel tank is nearly empty there's an increasment of the fuel temperature and that causes power loss

Doesn't happen in my 2005 - power is the same, full or with 0 miles displaying on the range. Also have 122,600 miles and it runs the same as it did with 25,000. You shouldn't be having issues.

things with and without wheels
Fuel system is cooled by the fuel, if you run low on fuel things will run hotter. (fuel pump, injectors)
