Cheap Chip Tuning......

Hi,
I found a chip for merecedes on Ebay...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&category=33597

i email Oliver, the guys works at Speedtuningusa, he said they can chip our car for US270. He told me that with the pulley and chip, i would probably get 42HP and 48Nm torque. This is the DYNO graph for our car. I think this DYNO just show the chip, not with the pulley. What do you guys think?

I have some beach-front property in Wyoming. I'll sell it to you for $260.

Get a guarantee in writing, and do a before and after dyno test. That way when you realize that you only gained 5hp, you can at least get reimbursed.

Didn't know you guys were in Real Estate. Come on Ben, and you wanted me to believe you about the pda dyno but you won't give this wonder chip a chance

Carl, give me a break. Why don't you give it a chance? Go out and buy the software for your car. You know as well as I do that those gains are not real.

Hey, I resemble that remark. Very good use of smilies, really drives the point home. I know it would be impossible for software only to come up with that kind of power but I thought it would be impossible for software on my Palm Pilot to accurately display HP. But on the other hand I do use my Palm Pilot to measure pitching speed at softball games so it is an amazing gizmo. What would be nice is to combine the 2 and be able to tweak the ECU from a Palm Pilot.

be careful carl, mach 430 will get upset if you question his pda dyno. it seems my thread was closed for questioning its accuracy.

You two crack me up! Just in case anyone was questioning the accuracy of the previous post, you can read the entire thread here:
https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...hreadid=39313.

Go for it nov0798, ruin another post and get it closed also. Perhaps we should question the accuracy of all your posts directed towards me, since all of the negativity started after I didn't give you a discount on a $500 product followed by none of MBWorld siding with you after you chose to publically flame me for it?

Is this a lesson on how to ruin a good post?
You guys have fulfilled your quest...grow up and move on.

SHEEEEESH
(just because the original post wasn't about YOUR products, that doesn't make it bad or wrong...and shouldn't be an invitation for you clowns to do the "me me me" covert advertising thing...this stuff just makes you look like foolish children)

no i dont care if you gave me the discount or not. bottom line is you didnt make a sell and what do i care? im not flaming you directly, i just find it humorous that when you are challenged, you get defensive and cant back up claims. as for closing posts, you close posts i didnt close them, that was all you and you tell me not to continue posting and so on. this is a free country man, carl and i are just asking for some simple answers, obviously you are very thin skinned and this stuff bothers you.

the challenge on the table was to run your pda dyno against a real dyno and compare differences. the only problem here is that you could easily alter the numbers input into the pda to reflect a more accurate product. this is all that was asked of you and you ran the other way.

i thought you were here to sell products?
i will never buy from you or your company just based on your behavior on the board.

im done now, i will try not to offend you with questions anymore.
