If only CST had pumpkin alcantara at the time, mine would've been similar.

Nice pics, Bob. I'll take the splitter, please.

This was a display car WITHIN the MB Event area in the same area as the Sirius Display cars.. So I assume it's not an attendee's car. I assume it wasn't at Houston. It will be interesting to see if it shows up at other stops on the C-Spot Drive tour.

My "appointment" was at 10am. When I got there, the crowd was 300-400, but it thined out to about half that over the lunch hour.

It was obvious to me that very few actually owned MBs, but were shoppers looking to take test drives. Lots of BMW's, Audis, Lexus', Acuras, etc., on the participant parking lot. There were maybe 15 MBs there. Modest mods on the few where mods were present (replacement wheels, mostly).

The crowd was not your MB country club set, but what you'd expect at a C-Class event: Lots of young Singles, plus Couples with small children. A lot of US transplants, principally Asian/Pac Rim. Plus a few middle aged car enthusiasts driving BMW's, looking to compare rides.

I enjoyed the event far more than I expected. Especially my two "Hot Lap" rides in the C32 AMG.

And tommy, imo, the only item that makes the car "ricey" (your word), is the wing. It belongs on a top-fuel dragster, rather than adding 40lbs of dead weight to an already porky Coupe.
