Plasti Dip or flat black paint?
So today I decided to plasti dip parts of my car a bit after seeing a couple of other users on mbworld do it. First off i did my gril and it came out really nice and i love it. So i decided to do my emblems and the air vent thing on the hood. I did my emblems and they didn't come out very nice, so I am kinda scared to do the hood vents now. Any recomendations on weather it will come out nicer with plasti dip? or flat black? or any other kind of paint?
Thanks
Thanks

Getting it painted will always have a better looking finish than plasti dip. With plasti dip, you just have to do a couple light coats and one or two heavy coats and it will look good. You just have to be patient in letting it dry between coats

So after reading many posts on here and seeing many pictures of w203's I decided to start doing a little bit of work my self, starting with plasti dipping my grill, painting the front emblem flat black, taking off the back emblems, painting the hood vents flat black, putting in carbon fiber center caps, and putting on a AMG trunk spoiler. I also am going to be putting on a roof spoiler, painting the brakes red, and putting on a CF front lip. (I already have it I just cant figure out how to install it so any tips on that would be appreciated).
Also a thanks to JBSPEED for a great trunk spoiler, and to 05 MB Komp for the center caps and CF lip
Also its looking like my front tires are going pretty bald but only on the very sides of it but the middle still has plenty of tread, any tire recommendations? I was thinking about just going to costco and getting michele pilot sports (which is what it currently has)

they're good tires. But check out the Continentals DWS. They are amazing tires and almost half the price. Do a comparison to the Michelins and go from there. I paid 650 for 4 tires/installed and road forced for the Continental DWS. If I wanted the Michels AS PLUS would've costed me 1000

They make them for 17's because when I replaced my back tires a couple of months ago I bought Michelins at costco, pretty pricey tho it ran me about 550 just for the back two tires

While you are replacing your tires, I would strongly suggest checking the alignment as it looks like your camber or toe might be somewhat off. Hence the wear pattern.

I still do have the stock intake but when taking it off it got a little torn. The recals or "open campains are: "is the cam magnets that leak oil and destroy the entire car
2 is their is a vacuum hose under the airbox that leaks
3 the trans pilot bushing breaks off in the transmission"
I called MB and said that I saw there was a few open campaigns for my car and they said to come in tomorrow and they will take care of it, so we will see.

Somebody correct me if/when I'm wrong, but a recall and campaign are two different things. Recalls are always done free of charge while campaigns are necessarily not.

I went to the dealer ship this morning to get them done and apparently all of the recalls and open campaigns had previously been done with he previous owner. The thing thats weird is when i called the dealership to make my appointment I gave them my vin number and they looked it up and said I have recall work that hasn't been done yet. I would expect them to tell me when I called to make my appointment that the works been done so I wouldn't have to waist time going to the dealership for nothing. Made me late to class for nothing
