Coolant Level Sensor ?? Dont know whats wrong

Hello,

I have a warning on my dashboard that the coolant level is low. Thanks for notifying me, but its not. The tank is full. So I assumed that the sensor is bad. Went and got a new one. Replaced it in 2 minutes, but it still shows that the coolant level is low....

Do i need to reset something to get it back to normal state or is there something else wrong?

Check your washer fluid and top it off. I almost guarantee it will fix it.

But i am talking about the coolant level not the washer fluid? Also My washer fluid Reservoir is missing when i bought my car. I just bought all the parts including the sensor, Reservoir, motor everything to replace it. Will be replacing it next week. (you think because of that my collant sensor is messed up?)

Ok fix your washer fluid tank and sensor and fill it up issue will go away. I know you are talking about coolant do some research next time on your issues and you will see that you have an old car and all your issues are not new ones and have been discovered and fixed years ago. Both of your new threads are both questions asked so many times that a quick search could have found your answer.

and why was it missing? if it was wrecked hope the wiring is ok that could cause more issues.

Hi!

I searched, I couldn't find anything though. I guess i was not wording it correctly.

The carfax was clean, the bumper seems like its the original one, but who knows...

I removed the bumper and saw 6 wires in pairs of 2 hanging. I guess 2 are for the motor, 2 are for the sensor, but I have no idea what the other 2 are for. They are much thicker than the other 2 pairs..

Thanks for all of your help, its greatly appreciated!

Yes as samaritrey said, fixing the washer will fix the coolant warning. Pictures of the connectors would help
