I think you need to put some tires on those rims before you go driving. Just kidding, I think I can see them there.

That car needs a drop more than almost any car out on the road though. With the stock wheels, it is not THAT bad. But once you put the 19's on, it's amazing how much it emphasizes that wheel gap. If you weren't dropping it, I would recommend taking the wheels off.

Yeah.. i like the brabus wheels, they were just too expensive for what you get..I saw a CLK w/ Monobloc VI's at the wheel shop and the wheels were bent beyond belief.. i asked the guy which hole he hit.. (here in nyc they are everywhere), i blasted that same hole a few weeks earlier w/ my 19" LMs and nothing happened.. i ran BBS wheels on every one of my race cars and on most of my street cars They are just my brand of choice... Ive never had a single one ever bend or have problems... I havent heard anything bad about Brabus or Lorinser either..

BBS, good choice, I chose the LM. BBS quality is at the top.

At first I was looking at the usual spoked stuff because it is the "thing" these days, but you see it everywhere now, Acuras, trucks etc. Most stock wheels are some sort of 5 or 6 spoke star shape it seems.

The BBS are different, cheers.

yea but all rims will dent at certain conditions... like how fast youre goin or how sharp the pothole is. brabus is the strongest non-forged rim.... sure ive dented it before, but it was a really really bad hit.

Yup.. nose is slightly damaged Scuffed on the under side.. but the worse part is.. my 2 front RS-GTs are destroyed

I guess it would have happened to any rim.. from BBS to Lorinser to HRE... Just my luck it happens with the second most expensive wheel bbs makes 1800 bux to replace them

ones too fast according to CHP!
File a claim agains the city/state. You can get it covered. Also, your insurance should cover this without impacting your rates.

Thanks

i cant believe that the only place i dented my rims was on the Wilshire corridor... right infront of some of the most expensive apartments in LA.... you would expect cracked roads in the ghetto.... but on Wilshire? daaamn its almost beverly hills! my dad said i should claim it from the city.... but seems like its a lot of hard work... cost me 300 bucks to fix it!!

Let me add to the condolences. Sorry to hear that man! I never wish that on any one that has spent over 3k on their wheels. You should file a complaint of lack of warning signs. Sure it'll take 'em a while to get you your money, but hey its something.

Yup I know what you mean! I broke a few rims a few years back in CENTURY CITY/BEVERLY HILLS, West Hollywood. Never in the "ghetto" where I live. Its weird...
