also note that the car weighs without me 1643 kilos, and my weight is 130 kilos.

Mercedes are not suitable for launches, especially with this ****ty 6spd manual. The clutch is weak, You cannot make fast gear changes especially first to second and second to third. Adding to this, it is impossible to make such times unless you turn esp completely off (through the hidden menu) as in my case it interferes even in the change from second to third.

For me the most important time is 0-200 and possibly the acceleration after 120kph. The 0-200 it is below 26secs and if you check the odometer, it reaches 200kph before reaching the 1km of distance.

oh my friend....
it is a w209 clk63 amg cluster and it is a pain in the a** to properly install it in the w203 pre-facelift dash. However it works as a charm (only the 999999km needs fixing.)
The car is a prefacelift 2002 model and I have also installed the facelift cetre console with a comand ntg2, that is fully working and controllable through the steering wheel and it also communicates with the display in the cluster.

At mbguru I was told that it is impossible to make all this work on a m111 engined with manual tranny without spending over 5k.

Well it is working with only two disadvantages:
1. to correct the mileage the right way, you need to change the ezs with a facelift unit. there is a doubt if the facelift ezs is compatible with the m111 ecu. Of course there is the odometer-guru way also.
2. without the ezs, DAS cannot "see" the comand, if I want to add anything on the comand I need to remove it, install it on a facelift w203, code it and reinstall it on mine.

I have a custom ALPINE IVA-W505 as headunit so i think i don't need the "COMMAND" controls, the other commands on the instrument cluster is ok? You can set up everything (lighting, door locks, speed limit (winter tyres) etc.) ?

I think i will buy a CLK Instrument cluster and put it on, i think it should work..?!

Thanks a lot for your details, it's very helpful

Trap every other stuff works. There are rumors saying that if your car is pre 2002 mod the fuelgauge malfunctions, but I was told that with proper DAS coding this is not a problem.

As you can see from my dyno there are little gains after 6k rpm. Going rough may shave off one tenth or two between the first two gear changes but will gradually cause problems to my gearbox. The car is this fast and even faster. It is apparent, why bother if I m not street racing?

After the instalaltion of the pulley kit I have noticed that although the max pressure is 0,73 this is reached only after 6000rpm. Until the the pressure stays below 0,55. Same thing applies to a friend of mine (same engine, same pulley, same tuner) It is apparent that the BPV stays a bit open allowing pressure drop. Two days ago the solution arrived from Snogards homeland. Tuning box made by Racing-Electronics is a MAP clamp that plugs between MAP and ECU. It works and this video is the proof

how to i embed videos?
