C 200cdi will not start when It's cold
Hi, I have a mercedes c200 cdi, 2005 model. When I try to start in the morning and the temperature is bellow 4-5 degC, it turns on all the lights in the dash except the glow lamp. And when I try to start it, the starter will not run.. If I switch on and off the ignition many times (2 to 100), suddenly the glowlamp starts to work and the car starts normally.
As soon as it start, Its working fine rest of the day.
Is there anyone that might have a clue what can be the rootcause for this?

Sounds as if a relay is not closing ? which provides power to the system. As it is intermittent & starts OK the glow plugs themselves must be OK.
Could also be the ign key . Try to find a wiring diagram to see what components are involved.
