you know what would be the biggest trip tim? if you did go ahead and put the turbo in, and then put a BOV. listening to a w203 fly by and then a "chhhhh" would sound cooler than my nasty V8 IMO.

Is it the cap looking things on the back of the motor? If so, Cale had the same problem as well as Karo I believe.

Those are the expansion plugs if we're talking about the same thing. The updated parts are supposed to fix the seeping problems. Cale has a thread with the part numbers and everything on junkies. Cheap fix.

Someone was about to purchase my original C55 amg wheels but just backed out. Oh well these rims are really nice to. I will make them match my little theme! I plan on wrapping the outside of the car in white and than adding black depos. 8000k bulbs.

Yes, as could a Hemi, or a jet engine, or ...

It just doesn't make sense to do an engine swap. Unless you're really hardcore like wavykat - check out his build thread.

As Colonel Jessep said, your manny can't handle the truth. It's a sad statement to make about a major automobile manufacturer, but MB doesn't give a sh*t about mannies.

Do you know how strong it is? What kinda hp its capable of? It should be somewhat strong for what I want to do since CLK6SPEED took a 6spd out of a 01 C240 and now has it in a 06 clk500. Around 302-315hp I think.

My guess is that it is not much stronger than 300hp.. the SLK350 6MT was at that level and was the most powerful one with a manual. No one can answer definitively as Mercedes doesn't push it past that.

That does sound right. But how does a C240 (168hp) 6spd handle the 500 (m113 v8) without problems. I think that the newer mannys like the 230 and 350 were built even stronger, maybe not by much but stronger. I may be completely wrong however. If anyone knows please chime in.

The question is, do you feel lucky, punk? Well, do ya?

I really wouldn't want to be the one to try all that, and then find out that the tranny dies on the first burnout.
