2005 COMAND problem <-VIDEO
2005 COMAND does not power up! After having an Alternator/Battery problem and replacement, weeks later the A/C and COMAND stopped working. According to the deaership, the A/C needed a new blower to be replaced and the COMAND needed a new CD changer to be replaced for it to work. Since I didn't feel like paying for the changer, I hope some one can help me diagnose and fix the problem.

In addition the siren sounds like its just clicking not chirping and when I activate it, it only clicks and doesn't chirp anymore.

So after removing the HU, I looked at the back fuse and it was blown, a 15 amp fuse was gone but once I replaced it, I got power to the unit, but the CD Changer was still dead. I removed the CD changed to pull it apart. I also coupled the MOST fiber cable from the CD changer to get the audio back. These are the results.
The only problem now, besides the changer, the Front Door Speakers are not working, all the audio is being routed to the center speaker on the Dash!
