Weird encounter rev/gear lock up
my car is a 2003 C200K, its a auto, today on the high way i had the speed limiter set to 90km and while going down this steep section of the high way, i kinda anticipated the auto tranny gonna kick down as to slow, as soon as i changed the speed limiter to 110 km the car kicked down, and in 3 rd gear, by the time this all finished happening the car is on flat road, rev at 4000rpm so i accelerated, let tranny change back to 4th but it didn't! i lifted up my foot completely off the accelerator and the speed stays at 100km / 4000 rev, and i was pretty sure the cruise control wasn't on, i could hear the supercharger engaged, then i floored the accelerator, big boost from engine and rev goes up to around 6000 rpm still it didn't change gear and settles back down to 100km/ 4000 rpm, it was weird so i had to engage manual mode, shows up 4th first then i made it go 3rd and back up 4th, nathing happened, auto tranny was dodgy, i changed it back to auto mode then things started to get normal, hmmm....my conclusion is: auto tranny sux! programmed like ****, i bet i could do that again eheheh :P
