hey guys been a while since i posted on here havent really done anything with the car lately being winter and all. but i got bored one day and went to the store. my cousin has a audio shop and keeps telling me he wants to put a system in my car. i keep saying no, but the other day was different. i said yes he was shocked. but i told him i want part of the build. and i want it to look stock like it came with the car. i dont wanna loose alot of trunk space. he said ok my car my rules he respects that. so i started running my wires.

4 awg power wire
monster cable rca wires
12in pioneer priemere woofer
and a pioneer ice amp i think lol

i want everything pioneer since i have a pioneer headunit already and swapped out the interiors for pioneer. so figured stay with the same brand.

cant wait till the custom install is done i will post pics soon.

i am not really motivated for this lol

so he is adding a sub to your Pionner HU. Do you have stock speakers attached to the HU? Just adding a sub is not going to instantly make your system sound great.
It is a step forward if and only if your HU has High Pass filters for the main speakers.

I have done extensive work on mine. Really good fronts are important too

i have changed the interiors already for some pioneers it sounds nice inside just missing the little bit of bass.

my head unit is a pioneer double din avic,,, i forgot the number lol. it has high pass filters and built in e.q. to control and clean up sound.

Are there better speakers that are replacements for the standard speakers?

Any suggestions?

The pioneers are better he owns a shop so he gets the cheap so I get his price lol lucky me I paid 221.68 for about 600 dollars worth of woofer amp and wires
