Thinking of buying a C320 coupe sport but have a question.
I am new to this forum and I am thinking to buy this 2003 C320 coupe sport (picture below).
I am wondering if the rear suspension isn't too low in the picture. I saw and test drived the car today, it drives good. Suspension is firm, does not make any noise and looked good with the low rear suspension height (the tire is in the flare).
It is supposed to be all stock (if the car would have had a lower suspension, the front would have also been lower no? maybe I am wrong).
But when I look at picture of other C320/C230 coupes on the internet, none seem to be as low as this one on the rear, but I didn't find a lot of C320 coupes with the sport package neither. I also didn't look at the wheels size but I think they are 17 inches because they look like the stock ones.
What do you guys think??? I will appreciate some opinions on the rear suspension. Or maybe pictures of other's cars.
Also, the car has 140000 kms, manual transmision, should I know something else about this car before buying? Any major problems? Any input appreciated!
Yeah maybe it has some shorter aftermarket springs on the rear.. but the car is straight.
Can this be a problem? Or better said, can the springs be of poor quality (below stock)? Does such a thing exists for a benz?
I would say check for cut springs before buying the car and if they are cut figure out how much a new set of springs will be and labor and knock it off the cars asking price.
