headlight issue..
I am having a problem with my left headlight. it just stopped working like two days ago. its not a bulb, like my parking light, turn signal, low high beams, and foglight do not work on my left side at all. does anyone know what it could possibly be?
does your car tell you the bulbs are out?

One side headlight not working, and the temp guage and light acting strange forces us to pick if they are separate sicknesses, or if they are connected. If your hoses, water pump, and coolant level is OK we can start looking elsewhere. The instruments like temperature gauge and light are not connected to the engine sensor directly like a '65 Dodge Dart. The sensors report to the chassis computer and results are sent on the CANbus to the instrument cluster. Likewise The headlight switch never touches a headlight wire. The front SAM "listens" to the switch and then uses its muscle to turn on the lamps.
Sounds like a dodgy connection to the fromt SAM. With that module priced near one large, it might be better to let a pro sort it out.

yea it was just corrosion on wires where they monunted to the car. its a pain to reach from top so i did it from under car. if you look under car at bottom of radiator ull see a plug follow the borwn wire from that to on the right of the windshield washer fluid resevoir and ull see a 10mm bolt coming off frame behind the fender liner, that is where i saw my corrosion. u can also follow your foglight ground wire to see where that is too. it was very similar on right side so HFJ00 you should be able to do the same if it is just a bad ground connection like mine was. and there was no oil on it at all. just a little corrosion. wire brush did the trick perfectly.
