2002 C230 Kompressor starting problems

2002 C230 Kompressor starting problems
I recently ran into some problems with my c230 kompressor (61,000 miles) starting. I've already replaced the battery and checked the corresponding fuses.
My main question is could the starter or alternator already be bad ? I'm able to start the car with an portable jump starter without any issues.

Well of course they could be bad but that is strange. So have you taken voltages with car off and at idle. But if the portable jump starter works then obviously your starter and start stuff is fine so a battery issue or alternator issue would make since. Get us your voltages and we can go from there.

Did you put in OEM battery? Should be Mercedes-Benz Part#: 000-982-33-08 Did you clean (sand down) the battery terminals and connectors when you installed the battery?
Upgrade fuse #52 (front fuse box under hood driver side) from 15amps to 20amps
Yes alternator can already be bad,... yes, starter can already be bad.
Come on work with us,... when you try to start the car, what happens? Do you hear starter clicking,... does it crank at all? Did you check gas pressure? Fuel filter? Starter relay?
BTW,.... not a good idea to jump a Benz with portable jump starter,.... lots of very sensitive electronics,.... and owners manual actually state not to use a jump starter. Owners manual says trickle chargers are ok.

I went to Advance Auto to upgrade Fuse #52 to 20amps, while there I got a alternator, starter, and battery check. The alternator and starter checked out as fine, the battery was producing 12 volts but the CCA is only cranking out at 360. So the issue seems to be my non-Mercedes battery.
So I guess I will be headed up to the dealership to purchase a new battery
