Car locking on its own?

Car locking on its own?
Hey guys!
Yesterday as I was pumping gas I noticed that my car locked on it's own. I thought that I might have locked it without noticing since I keep my key on a carabiner which is hooked onto my hip belt loop. So I unlock my car, unhook my keys from my pants and about 10 seconds later it locks on it's own again! I found it quite weird and started to think that maybe it could just be some anti-theft mechanism or something, lol. It doesn't seem to be serious at all, but I'll probably test it again tomorrow and upload a video for you guys to see when I get home from school.
I just wanted to know if this is happening to any of you too, or if it's a normal thing. Idk, maybe my car is haunted or something.

They do think they are smarter than we are. That's why we're not allowed to control the heated mirrors and stuff like that. As Trey said, though, it is supposed to relock. Mine seems to vary based on the time it takes to get to the car. If it takes me 20 seconds or 40 seconds the car always relocks just as I get to the door. It's just messing with me.
