C32 brakes on - finally!
So I ordered all the parts before Xmas and they've been sitting in boxes in my office until today. I finally got the C32 brakes and new wheel bearings installed on my 03 C320 and I think it looks pretty nice. Took it easy coming home, didn't hit the pedal hard or leave the new pads on the disks for too long. Plan to do some more bedding in tomorrow. I've barely driven the car since I picked up my C63, but even today coming home it's still a very fun car to drive.
The rear calipers are C32 powder coated bronze/gold with ceramic/metalic pads, drilled/slotted rotors. Ended up having to replace the hubs as the wheel bearings were welded to the hubs with rust!
The fronts are OEM AMG C32 with similar ceramic / metallic pads, D/S rotors. No new hubs in the front, but did get the new wheel bearings installed.
On top of that, I ended up putting new summer tires on (too close to put winters on now) - got Hankook Ventus V12 K110s. Seemed to be just fine on the way home, but will have to give them a little more use once the brakes are all settled in.
Here's a couple of pics (sorry it's all so dirty - life in Rural Canada in Winter!)

After life with the C63, those tires kinda look a little on the tall side even tho they are 225/45/17...

MBWorld Fanatic!
how did you get c63 calipers to fit? i coulda sworn the c63 ran 6/4 pot anyway...also where did you get the rotors from? I'm assuming they're EBC correct? according to they're website they dont off rotors for the c32/55 calipers

My bad - they are C32 calipers front and back. Obviously got my 32's and 63's mixed up!
Rotors came from http://brakeperformance.com front and back.
