I really like what you have done to your car. I'm planning to do some of it on my Black 2002 MB C320. What do you think about these do you think they would look nice on my black:

If your going to do the grill I would get rid of your hood d and get a flat badge, they don't mix well imo .The depo headlights are a great idea because it will make such a difference vs your stock frostys. I'm not really feeling the straight LED fog light, I never thought they looking right on our cars, but the only person who need to like your car is you. Are you going for a murdered out look? maybe some new wheels wouldn't be to bad consider how bad the pre facelift stocks look. I would also recommend getting the AMG body kit that the face lifted sport w203s have. I think you could find one in a pick and pull yard, my friend who has a pre facelift w203 picked up a AMG front bumper from a pick and pull yard for $40 and it was already painted the color of his car. Good luck

Chapter 12: Small Updates

So I haven't posted up here in a couple of weeks, mostly because I had a few issues with the sedan. After getting the problems solved last week I started modding it up again this weekend.

First off one of the main issues I was having with my car was it was starting really harsly, for some reason the day after I changed my intake air filter with one that was about 3 times bigger then the old one that problem went away and it started like a champ ever since then. I am not sure if its relevant, might just be that the problem went away . Other then that, It breaths nicer with this filter because it is now located right were the opening is, plus its way bigger.

Also I had spent some late nights working on the cars because I was busy during the day and couldn't sleep thinking there was mods waiting to happen, last night I was up till 4 working on the cars. I bought some new speakers for the coupe and sedan, but I cant figure out what to do about the housing. The recommended size is 6.5 front and 5.25 rear for both cars but the 5.25 seems way to small for the size of the hole. I search the form about it but I am still a little lost so if anyone could chime in about that it would be much appreciated

Also I finally got new city lights becasue my other ones went out the same night that I got them, this time I went threw AZN optics on the forum and there lights were WAY better quality and are still running strong, plus super fast shipping.

Also Carbon fiber wrapped my door pillars

Another thing that bothered me about my car was that the part of the steering wheel were the controls are were pretty scratched up and old looking. I saw on nlpamg's build thread how he found these great CF wrap pieces that cover them I had to get them.

Before:

After:

Also I was driving home from my watching the NBA finals at my cousins house (go lakers btw!) and hit 70k

Also a few days ago I was leaving work and saw this beast parked out side next to my car. I said in a joking way to him, "fina race"? and he just laughed at me and looked back at his phone, then I took a quick pic

thanks pww! Still regret not getting 18s like you, would of been way more ideal considering how much I am rubbing on stock suspension, how are your LM reps holding up, I believe we both got them from the same sponsor on the forum (323 motor sports) right?

super easy, just clean the surface, then put it on, just like putting on a sticker, just need to align the holes up. Didn't take long at all to do. If you can make the cut out your self out of some CF wrap it would be much cheeper. I paid $16 on ebay for it and it was pre cut out

Holding up no problems, and yeah 18's are perfect IMO, assuming you can get low enough to run em

What spacers are you running for your setup? I'm at 15 front 12 rear

I am the other way around, 12 front 15 rear. I think 18 would have been perfect too, but didn't have them in gun metal in 18 and I really wanted gun metal. I need to do some more inner fender grinding to try to get rid of some of the rubbing. I gridded the Sh*t out of the rear inner fenders a few weeks ago and I wasn't rubbing at all untill today when I have 5 people in my car and a full trunk and I was on the freeway rubbing every few seconds. If more grinding doesn't fix it I might need to either roll the fenders or drop down to 12mm on the rears, which I really dont want to do because they are perfectly flush imo right now

Gotcha, yeah I had an 18x9.5 et23 setup in the rear too at one point, but it rubbed some, even with the tabs grinded down, so I stepped down 3 mm to et26, and no problems at all.

I am at et 25 on the rear with the spaces, but then again the C55 has a different fender size I believe? not too sure, what size tires are you running? and you have a drop right?

I'm on H&R's, all the way down in the front, need to go lower in the rear soon too. I think the fenders are the same though, but I've got 225 fronts and 255 rears

you probably know more about c55s then me so I'll take your word for it. Have you had any rubbing issues with your current set up being lowered and all?

Currently, with the 15 front and 12 rear, no problems. Mild rubbing with a lot of people in the car and no problem on the fronts. Bottom of the car is a different story haha

I have the exact same ride. Was looking at getting the same headlights and grill even. You've got great taste. hahaha There's a guy in the classifieds selling that grill, its missing the emblem though. Changed my mind on it though. I'm trying to ditch as much of the chrome as possible. It had just a little too much for me. Do you by any chance have the bose sound system also? Have you done anything to it?
