OK, dont mess with the wires in the back of the head unit. Leave that mess alone. Your making it hard on yourself. If your car is BOSE equipped, and you have speaker level inputs on your Pioneer amp, you can tap right off of the stock subwoofer speaker wires. Purple is positive. Brown is Negative. You have to take off the side panel and remove 3 or 4 (I dont remember exactly how many) 10MM nuts and bolts. Then you can remove the subwoofer and get to the speaker wire connector in the back. You can run your turn on lead from the amp to the #7 fuse slot in the rear fuse block. Its switched by the ignition. Also, if you do have the BOSE system, dont forget to remove the Mic for the "audio Pilot" underneath the dome light, or else, your volume is going to do some strange things for you. If you DO NOT have the BOSE system, remove the door sill plates and find the solid green wire and the wire that is green with a brown tracer on it. Those are the speaker wires for the door speakers. You can tap right off of them. As I said before, only if your amp has speaker level inputs. If not, you will definitely need a line level converter like Kompman suggested. Good luck.
