fiber optic or non-fiber radio
As you know I have been looking for a CD/NAV/AM-FM upgrade for my 2004 non-facelift C230 coupe. I did find one but it is for a non-optical fiber sound system. How can I tell what mine is? I don't want to buy the wrong unit.

Bob, you will want a fiber optic based unit. That is, if you want to stay stock MB. The 2004 MY used the D2B fiber system. MY 05 on used the MOST fiber system.
