You're right. I saw the A-class with the tablet like display and even though I loved the rest of the car and interior that could very well be a deal-breaker.

Haha!!! Yeah, if something looks like an afterthought or a misplaced item, that sure is an example of that. IMO, of course. At least what I've seen in the pictures. Seeing it in person could change the opinion, though...

Maybe it's your cologne?

I think the appearance of it looking like a tablet that's been glued to the center console is exactly what most future buyers will want in their cars. So I think that we'll all probably have to get used to it, like the disappearance of true manual transmissions.

We may not agree on anything else car related, but this is where we meet. Sure, automatics can do things faster/better and whatnot. But for sheer enjoyment and involvement, anything but a real manual is a disappointment. At least to me.

Unfortunately for you, I think we probably share more similar views than we have different ones.

Quote: The one in your facelift car, Peydidy, is very well integrated but definitely not for me.. I agree the stock COMAND unit looks best. The one in your coupe, however, is classic aftermarket nasty. Then again so is the whole pre-facelift interior. Oh damn, apparently I'm not "getting it" after all, Tommy.
I agree with you on the coupes not looking good, which is why I returned it and is back to stock for the next month. Once the AVH-4400BH (the double din in my sedan) gets officially released in stores then I am going to put one of those into the coupe too.

We'll agree to disagree on facelift VS pre-facelift and aftermarket vs OE.
