C230K feeling slower?

That and cleaning your air-filter every 7.5k miles, hell even every 15k miles is pretty over-the-top. You're running a bigger chance of ruining your MAF with filter oil than anything else.

I have to say, the battery is what really did it for me. I felt the difference instantly. Apparently the sport models need more juice so you need to replace the batteries more often.
Fuel filter should be replaced every 30k miles(do it with the tranny fluid) and k&n's should be cleaned every oil change(7.5k miles for me).
These cars are sensitive. Also, they are cold air intake so when its warmer/humid outside, they will run like pigs. Almost the same as a turbo'd car in high altitude.

Fuel filter service interval is not 30,000 miles. It is at least double that, mine had no problem going 100k. Transmission fluid changes are 39,000. Oil changes are every 13,000 miles and you're wasting your time, money, and resources doing it more often. I've analyzed my oil after three 13,000 mile drains and it is fine and that's running a paper filter in an M271. You can get the fleece filter for your M272 and you have over 8 quart capacity.
These cars are sensitive.. and the M271 behaves like a forced induction car when it is hot because it is forced induction.
