Make sure to stop riding at least a couple of days before, like Wednesday. I'm sure you'll have a great time. The pit stops are always interesting on these rides. Also, look out for TX members in their Benzes from the "other forum" - they might try to run you down, as seeing "MBWorld" in print gets them loco.

 

I'm doing 30miles today, 30miles tomorrow, and 20miles Wednesday, and then not doing anything Thurs and Fri. Definitely not doing my 3-a-day workouts this week!

 

It's done finished over, and I survived. Minor hamstring strain, but that's it. What a great experience, thank you all for your support!

I know there were a TON of pictures taken at the starting line, but none of them have made it my way yet. A picture of me and my wife and babies was taken after day 1 was over with though.
