Adjustable Coilover and Ride Height Question
I plan on getting coilovers for my car. I have a few questions. I have never lowered my car before.
1) Are the coilovers high enough to prevent the car from scrapping?
2) How are the height adjusted when you want to raise the car up?
I want to lower my car, but I want to minimize getting my car damaged because of my driving style or habits. What do you guys suggest?

i would suggest getting springs if you dont know how to mess with coilover. Coilovers can keep your car at stock height and can lower it quite a bit depending on your brand you get. Coilovers have perches that adjust height. You loosen the perches and then turn the perch to adjust height. But if you want to lower it and keep a good clearance I say go with eibach springs. They have a mild drop, stiffer springs for better handling, and still keeps your raked look of the car. Coilovers I usually suggest to people who really want to adjust their height to their specs and do it often. I myself am always trying to fine tune my height to get my stance the way I want thats why I went from springs to coilovers. But if you're new to the lowering game go springs since the company builds the spring rates to enhance your driving experience.
Heres an example of how its adjusted. I have BCs similar to these.

No our cars use MacPherson strut so are camber is adjusted by the control arm fluted bolts and can be done by eccentric bolts on the upper strut bolt connecting to the hub.

if you want a comfy ride go with the standard spring that comes with it, believe its 8k front and 6k rear, but if you want a more stiffer spring rate I'd recommend 10k and 8k.
