DIY Tailight Removal and VHT Nightshades w203

I have a 2001 c320 just got my VHT nightshade bottles in. Any tips on removal? also do i have to buy duplicolor? if so where? is sand paper needed ?if anyone has a clear picture by picture DIY that would be great thank u

Removing the tail lights is pretty simple:

The third brake light it a little tricky though.

You dont need to sand down your lights, just give them a rinse with some water and wipe them down. I didnt put any clear coat on my lights either. Everything seems to be fine.

if you want like a mirror finish to them you should wet sand in between clear coats with like 2k grit...let dry and next coat, then final coat wet sand till they're hazy but smooth to the touch, then apply polish and buff them out and they will look great...

although i vinyled mine with a heat gun so i didnt have to do all of that lol...not absolutely perfect and required stretching in areas but they look great from every angle...
