Agreed, its only an opinion and you do with it what you like. 18 or not, people have a right to post what they think and you have the right to completely ignore it. I mean't no disrespect, nor did anyone else here. We are all enthusiasts just offering opinion.

hey who cares what the haters say, your paint is safe under that plasti,
yes it is ugly, yes it is dull but who gives a crap if you want it? I have to say tho, remove the amg sign, beauty is one thing, impersonation is another
keep browsing the forums, and over time your taste will change
plasti dip is a great thing tho no need for u members to hate on it so much
Btw how many cans did you use????
just read only 7, maybe thats why it looks so dull? I used more than one on each of my old rims

I think plasti dips a great thing, I just hate how it looks brownish in direct sun light. Also that AMG emblem just has to go, you will get alot of hate on the form expeshaly from AMG members about it. Also how many coats did you do on it? As Harrison said maybe you just need to aply more plasti dip because it's looking super dull.

I understand the idea, such as the new lambo or even BMW now offers a matte black, like this.
I've imagined how a new style Camaro would look with Matte black,
and blacked out windows, like a stealth fighter.
BUT I'm sorry, what you've ended with just looks like
you went from a nice paint job to a hand spray painted from a can,
something I see on old beaters all around San Joser in the crappy parts of town.
If you just wanted to do a proof of concept, and are willing to get it professionally done, well, maybe.
I just don't think our cars look good in Matte Finish. It's the subtle curves that come out with car nice and shiney that make the design.
I think the Matte works on a more angular design, or rat rods.
Just my opinion, you asked BTW.

I think part of the reason it looks so strange is because of the subpar camera quality. Xavier's coupe and that Aventador are both in high resolution. I'm actually debating whether or not to dip my whole car as well.
