The front shouldnt require any grinding. The front fenders are aluminum - which means they should be SUPER easy to roll. Have at it - you can make TONS of space.

Just be careful not to cut to much cause if you do and go to low you can rub the springs and eventually rub the frame. I went to low and noticed my tire was rubbing the frame and wore some paint off. I'd start with a quarter first.

good idea ill cut another 1/4 coil off in a couple of weeks and see how low that takes me and if it isnt low enough ill do another 1/4 after.. better to be safe than sorry + its pretty easy, only thing that sucks is taking the spring off and putting it on

The sport springs people are referring to are the ones from 2005-2007. All the so called "sport" springs (even the c32 springs)between 2001-2004 in the US had the fubar height back then because of the bogus US bumper height requirement.
Also from what i remember cutting the springs increase the spring rate, not the other way around.

OP since ur gonna go out and cut the anyways instead of cutting them , shrink them?
my friend got "clamps" to hold 2 or 3 of the coils of his spring into 1 thus making the spring shorter, and the car lower, why don't you clamp your car?
1) it won't cause permanent damage
2) it will drop your car even more.
win win situation.
