I was just looking at the inside of my trunk to see if I had the trunk release button incase anyone got stuck in there and started to think.. wouldn't it be a good idea ot have a teleaid button in there as well..... incase they lock an unfortunate C owner in the trunk :p :p

But there is a trunk release button in the trunk. I put my friend in their last night and he got out. The button is even lighted and flashes green.

true but what if the captors are outside or the car is moving....wouldn't you want to call tele aid or have a panic button..... :p

Boo, some of the early 2001s did NOT arrive in the US with the trunk release... They were shipped to the US before the federally mandated date (Jan 1, 2001, I think). My April production sedan has it but not all 2001s did. Your 2002, and all other 2002s have it.

If you pull on the trunk handle while the car is locked it will call teleaid after 20 seconds
