what tailights do you suggest for a white c230.
Hi, just purchased a 2006 c230 in white 2 weeks ago. I've been looking around the forum since then to get ideas of what I want to do to the car. I am black vinyling roof, the middle lip secton of the front bummper and the rear valance over the exhaust on Saturday. I am not going to to do tints but I wanted to do black accents around the car. I want to do something to the tail lights but have been able to decide. I want it to have a different look, but not too extreme. I narrowed it down to tinting all the red on the taillights except the revese (this might be to much for what I am goign for though) or doing either white or black vinyl just on the red section around just the reverse light. I've seen this done on a black and a silver car but not a white. Anyone have any pictures of what they did to their tail lights on a white c230?
Thank!!!

I'm on my iPhone or else I would copy and paste the link to the one I am thinking about. But if you go to the w203 spotted thread the first post is pictures of a white facelifted c230 with tinted tail lights. He has his tinted the same way as myn but it gives you an idea of how it would look on white

The ones that came on it! To me, nothing cheapens a MBZ more than the clear Euro lights... That's just my opinion though... If that's your choice go with them. Blackening out the backup part of the tail lights just doesn't do anything for me either... The millions of $ in marketing and design that goes into the MBZ to start with seems to get it right the first time as far as body goes... Wheels are one OEM thing that I don't mind changing cosmetically... Minor performance tweaks are OK too IMHO...

+1 I have the LED S-Class tails and it enhances the look of the C-Class. I wouldn't tint the tails as I would be worried about tickets.

I had a pair of the LED S Class tails on my previous w203, but they had a problem where not all of the LEDs would light up. I had to resolder a new board myself to get them all working. Hope they fixed that problem, it has been a few years since then..
