A/C problems 07 2.5L
I have an 07 c230 v6. 2 weeks ago the a/c would only blow warm air (not hot like when the heat is on). i turned the knobs to heat and shut the a/c off and turned everything back to cold and it started blowing cold again. Today same problem but no matter how many times i changed the settings it still only blows warm air. Checked the pressure and thats good so its not low on freon. Anyone have a similar problem? I read the thread on the 4cyl that had a bad press/reg but not sure if this is the same setup with my car being a v6. Please help. Im in florida and sweating my ***** off!!

It's probably best to hook it up with the SDS (Star Diagnosis)...the factory Mercedes-Benz diagnostic tool, so you can pinpoint what's going on with your car. That's my best advice, or else you'll be going in circles and slapping parts on your car that it may not need. With the SDS, you'll see "Actual Values" and "Activations" and if you have a code in your AAC (Climate Control Module), then you'll see it and follow a failure tree, as opposed to guessing.

Ill try and find a local mechanic that has a SDS. the nearest dealership is 35 miles away. I unplugged the a/c pressure switch and i could here something disengage and then re-engage when i plugged it back in so i assuming thats the compressor engaging. That would lead me to believe its not the pressure switch. But then again im no mechanic.

Ended up my compressor locked up. $975 later for a New compressor,drier, and expansion valve, and labor. But its almost 90 degrees here and my ac is blowing cold.

BOBSBENZ31, Good to hear you have the AC fixed. Had the same thing happen. AC compressor packed it in. I purchased all the parts and replaced my compressor, drier, expansion valve & o-rings myself a few weeks ago. Then took my car in to my friends shop to pull a vacuum, then have the system charged with 134A refrigerant. The AC is nice and cold now.
The only thing I'm waiting for is the warm weather, it's still only around 60-65 degrees here.
