Pedals look good. Your lucky that your coupe is a manual

Why is the Coupe in the shop? What are you having done? Is it in for the Xenon=Present or more? Idk, I got confused, something about Coupe was in the shop, you forgot about it, someone mentioned BMW's and same or someone else diss'n them -- Idk?...
Me, I'm pretty much a car-ho. :p I gravitate towards any manufacturers that produce well engineered, good handling fast cars. I like all German cars. Of course I have my ranking order with Audi at the bottom (due to styling; although, I do like the styling of the S5, but mostly because everyone I personally knew that owned an Audi since 2000-on all have had problems with theirs and swore they would never buy another). I like VW for what they are -- good entry level German car and of course I like Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Both have proven themselves to produce exceptional vehicles both on and off the race track.
I finally got the plastic upper air intake pipe from ordering online over 2 weeks ago (order was placed, but warehouse never fulfilled it) and replaced mine that had a hole it in. At least now my Coupe isn't leaking boost any more (or at least I hope ). It only took 15-to-20 minutes to replace. Unfortunately, I still have a Check Engine Light that I need to get it into the dealership and have them checkout & reset, so I haven't been driving it. I did drive it for 10 or so miles after I replaced the intake pipe hoping that the CEL would reset and go away, but no dice. Car felt and drove even better than ever before (as one would expect now that I'm not leaking boost :p). So I'll have to get it in soon. The pedals are awesome and HIGHY recommended for anyone who has an MT Coupe.

I just read that thread, thats crazy, thanks for the heads up. I really don't think something like that will be the case though. The way I found out about the shop was when someone crashed into my dads old benz he went into the dealership and asked whats the best shop to take it to (the other persons insurance was paying for it all), they recommended us to this place and they were great. Ever since then my family and I always have our cars body work done there. I have had my sedan in there 2 times, once when it got key'd and once when my neighbor crashed into while it was parked. Also my mom had her Mazda 6 in there once and it was to have a side skirt replaced and repainted and he did it in 3 days. I trust the guy, I just think he is really busy right now and is putting my car off and forgetting about it. Ever since I started calling him every other day about it I think he's actually been getting the work done. We will see tomorrow I guess, I'll swing by after work and see whats up with it.

Just stopped by the shop on my way home from work. My car wasn't there, when I asked him he said he just sent it off to have it aligned and will be ready tomorrow... I doubt it will be though.

Chapter 2: Bumper repaint, clear fogs, and some other stuff
So I after 2 long months I FINALLY got the coupe back from the shop. They ran into a few problems here and there but finally got it all sorted out and done. So heres the list of things I had done:
-Re-paint and repair bumper
-Clear fogs
-Rewire fogs (left side wire was missing for some reason)
-Windshield cleaner tank Replaced (was leaking before)
-New inner fender (the plastic was all gone on one side)
-Error cancelers for the new lights
-LED city lights
-New wipers
-Fixed the headlight washers (I didn't even know I had that feature until someone on here PM'd me about it and pointed it out)
-Tie rods replaced
-Alignment
I have an appointment at MB for next week to get a oil change done too. I have been shopping around for some 05 tails too and found a set online from a pick and pull shop on the east cost that has a set so I am going to give them a call tomorrow to see if they will be willing to ship them. Also need to order a set of clear side markers too. New double-din Head unit coming sometime during summer too depending on when I end up selling the sedan.
And here come the pictures...

Peydidy, *very* nice! Glad to hear that the Coupe is finally home.
What are LED city lights? Can you post pics of them?
What is all involved in the 05 tails mod/swap? Is it just a matter of finding a set of 05 taillight lens or is there more to it? Does it specifically have to be 05 or can it be from a later model as well?
I just got mine back from the MB dealership to get an alignment and to get H&R sways (F/R) installed (already had lowering Eibach Springs and Koni FSD shocks/springs installed). Handling is much improved for the street, but would still be "lacking" if I was going to track it -- BUT -- my son still has a couple years to decide if he wants to do Driver Ed. events with me or not. Also had the MB dealership replace the turn signal (mechanisms were broke in the steering column and you had to hold the turn signal all the time to indicate left turns and right turns would not auto cancel after completing the turn). The new turn signal is so much nicer now; it's the little things... :p
Of course I forgot to have the dealership replace the windshield washer fluid reservoir when it was in. Ugh! I noticed just the upper "neck" part of my reservoir is damaged. Can just the "neck" part be replaced or must the whole unit be replaced?
Thx and keep the updates/mods coming!

Black grill would look good. Current color was from Blake's car.
2005 tails can be had from German ebay site.

my current city light is already LED, just swap it out from the old housing, also, change the side blinker when you are at it, or swap it out from the sedan and sell the sedan with it, swap the sedan DD with the coupe too LOL
