Amsoil that is approved for MB Sheet 229.51 is suitable for use in Mercedes DIESEL cars only.
Gasoline cars require Sheet 229.5 oils, and the Amsoil product cannot meet that specification.
I use Mobil 1 0W-40 and run 13,000 miles or 1 year. Blackstone says my oil is still working by analysis. This is not the subjective opinion of people selling oil changes.
