A/C issues. Need advice please!
Had the coolant fan replaced yesterday as it died and noticed on the way home that the A/C takes a while to get cold and also seemed to cut out every once in a while. Never got really cold even though the controls were set to the lowest temp. Also noticed an intermitent high pitched hissing kind of sound that only lasted about 3-4 seconds each time it happened. Kind of like the compressor is cyclying on and off.
Car has 104,000 miles on it so I'm wondering if it's time to rechrage the system and if getting the highly advertised AC Pro kit for around $45 would be a good start?
