H&R Coilover question
Just happened to install new tires all around.
F:225/35/19
R:265/30/19
15mm spacer all around.
& my tires are hitting my springs badly, I dont want to drive because my tires will literally melt away. Is there a DIY coilover adjustment thread?
Or maybe I can go 20mm to avoid the spring? Im not trying to move my car at all.

I need to do something ASAP. Im very limited in tools, & is the high adjustment hard to do? What tools are needed? I was thinking of getting a bigger spacer as of now just to push the tire away from the springs. Ive never had this problem with the front tires.

These euros have w204 offsets.. so they were at et42 et45 nd with 15mm spacers all around so et27 et30. My prior tires were the same size bu generals these hankooks rub TOO much.

The problem is in the front, dont rub in the rear.

i know you don't want to do it but phister is right..If you are running negative camber in the front you are going to have t oget it adjsutsed.. You also are going to come up a little higher with the 19's.. I am currently running ksports with 9.5 inches in the rear et35 and 8.5 in the front et 32.. No spacers dropped 2/3 of the way down.. I would go with a different tire up front.. i have michelin pilots sports and the front are strtched pretty good so I didn't rn into the problemt you are having .Good luck.. I wiil hit you up with some pics of my front and the exact tire dimensions in the front... By the way my fenders haven't been rolled in the front or rear.. https://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=3141764833553&set=a.1556449881670.2 065242.1547919286&type=1&theater

You can get away with 20mm spacer up front since it'll make it +22. You might have to pull it slightly but I doubt it. I had +20 on my previous setup and all I did was roll the fender and it cleared. I rolled and pulled like a b!tch lol had to get +15 to fit. Also be careful with the wheel well there's not alot of space from the liner to the car body. I actually rubbed a hole in the liner and was rubbing paint off the frame. I have to get 215/40/18 in front to go lower now and clear my springs and the perches. So going with spacers will clear your issue but I'd match the rears too make it flush all around.

I had a similar issue when I installed my coilovers. I couldn't lower my front because the spring would hit the tire. I installed 12mm spacers and that didn't help. I was only able to lower the car a little bit more. I ended up changing the inner barrels on my front wheels a half size smaller and that fixed my issue.

You can grind it down. Also when you look at the upper strut bolt on the coilover body is it all the way pushed inwards (towards the strut). This bolt can adjust the camber so if its all the way towards the stut youre running negative camber. I had to loosen that and the two lower strut bolts and pulled it out some to give clearance and not run so negative. Most coilovers make that bolt hole oval shaped to allow for the camber adjustment. When its loosen you can hold the upper hub and push it back and forth.

Dude your rear fender/wheel fitment is on point. Im running a -1.9 in the rear and going upgrade the spacer to 20mm. Im guessing you had to do a **** ton of pulling and rolling on the rear. Question, when pulling the fender does the paint run the risk of coming off and peeling?

You really have to make sure you heat the fender properly when pulling. You have to do it in phases to gradually pull it out or it'll get uneven and wavey. I no longer have the lil flat edge on the fender its all pulled. Had to get 18x10 +15 to fit. Might rebarrel the rear and push it to 18x10.5 in back.

i noticed that you have def pulled the crap out of the rear. It looks absolutely awesome but i would be worried if I ever wanted to go back to stock.

I had the same issue with mine. I went with a 225 up front on an 8'' wheel and I have a 32 offset with a 10mm spacer=22 offset was the magic number for me. My fenders arent rolled or pulled
however with the same offset and an 8.5'' wheel I had the rubbing on the coil

I'd never go back to stock on this car lol In any case I'd just buy another car and use it as my beater. I'm already on the look out for one right now. Something with good gas mileage for my long road trips that I take.

Phi- Do you have any close pictures of your fenders? Your front fender still has the squared look but the rear is fully pulled correct?
