2003 C240 Bluetooth/ Iphone Integration
Hi I am new to the forum and I recently purchased my C240. Before I had purchased it I thought I was going to be buying a BMW and saw the Dice MediaBridge (http://diceelectronics.com/media-bridge-info) and thought it was awesome and wanted to get it. Now that I got my C240 I have really seen any comparable products out there. I want to be able to wireless stream music to my car and use the built in call buttons for my phone. Right now I have a tape to aux system going on but I'd really like to go wireless.
I'd appreciate any insight!

I could easily be wrong, but I don't THINK you can have bluetooth streaming music and the use of the phone buttons on steering wheel and HU.
It is my understanding that after installing the bluetooth bits, you will just have phone capability. I don't think you'll be able to stream music wirelessly. I think to do all that, you'd have to get another HU. I think that is a better option unless the perfectly integrated styling of the OEM HUs is the most important thing to you (touch screens have to be flat so they don't fit perfectly on the dash, but they work well IMOH). You can get bluetooth (streaming & phone), GPS, microSD card slot, iPod, DVD, etc. for not a whole lot more than the parts needed to enable your bluetooth with the OEM HU (and maybe less than the MB retail price for the parts).
Just my $0.02.
