A1 Cardone Brake Booster
Hello all got my brake booster in from Partsgeek.com http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/200...e_booster.html
when i received it i opened the package and noticed an ATE logo on the back. and a more dark silver finish to it.
Just wanted to see if i received an ATE reman booster.

ATE (Alfred Teves) is a German brake parts manufacturer. They were the original maker of the brake booster.
Cardone is an American auto parts remanufacturer. They take servicable cores and replace the wear components and sell them much below what a new unit would cost.
They clean and repaint most of the items they reman. Since ATE is often cast or embossed in the original, it will still be there on a reman part.
