c240 signal light malfunction

hi, I have a 2002 Mercedes c240 and I'm having a problem with my front left signal. a couple days ago my signal "clicker" was clicking faster than usual but the bulb was still working so i restarted my car and the problem went away until yesterday. now, i get a malfunction indication that the bulbs burnt out and the bulb doesn't work. i took the bulb out replaced it, still nothing. i tried the same bulb on the right side and it worked. also tried disconnecting the battery and sanding the contacts. any ideas?

Thanks

is this signal light from side mirror... if yes, i have the same problem with you..
if you tried to change the bulb and it's not working, maybe this is 1 of many malfunction that uses star diagnose to solve or erase the malfunction?
let me know what everybody think...

What do you mean? Buy the entire headlight or just the turn signal component?

Fuse? do you remember which one? cuz my fuse chart says that all signal functions are electronic and have no fuses...
