Multiple Fault Codes on '06 C230

Hello everyone,

Seeking a little advice/information. A good friend of mine has a 2006 C230 with only 47k on it.

I'm doing new brakes for him and while I was at it I scanned the car. No CEL was present, but was just curious.

The following codes showed up.

P0015 (Pending)- Camshaft Position Actuator B - Bank 1 Timing Over-Retard

P0060- HO2S Heater Resistance Bank 2 Sensor 2

P2069- Fuel Level Sensor 'B' Circuit Intermittent

P2225- NOx Sensor Heater Sense Circuit Intermittent Bank 2

I road tested the car and it seems to drive just fine. I just don't know why all these random codes were popping up. I did a search and the only one I found any info on for a MB was the P0015 and it talked about something with Magnets?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it's the magnet, then there is a campaign at the dealership where they can replace it for free. Perhaps that is the source of the problem. I don't know much about codes.. sorry. Perhaps other senior members here can chime in.

Many times our cars will store codes. You'll have to star some to completely clear them out.

Thanks for the replies.

I cleared out the codes twice over the span of a few weeks. They still seem to keep coming back so something has to be up and causing it.

Car drives fine and seems to be suffering on any front. No CEL ether. I guess just let them go then.

Just to make sure, you're using the STAR to clear them out?

I had to look up what you were talking about. Found out STAR is what GT1 is for my Bimmer.

In that case no. I wasn't using star. Just a generic code scanner. I guess I will have to look into that.
