OEM Vs Aftermarket AFM
Hi everyone,
I have a friend with a 2001 C200K (M111 motor).
His CEL has come on and a diagnostic pointed to a faulty air flow meter.
Now, he's found 2 options, the OEM for 230 euros, or some aftermarket (not sure of brand, likely Chinese) for 50 euros.
Just wondering how the aftermarket one compares?
If it does the job and lasts 2 years he's happy.
If however it's inaccurate and risks damaging the engine, he'll go OEM.
Advice is appreciated.
