COOLING VISIT WORKSHOP
I am having cooling visit workshop in my display, my car will start up but no cooling fan on until i turn on the a/c. After a while the a/c will blow hot air & the message will pop up plus, the my temp gauge will go up a bit & the fan will turn off. My question i am thowing out there is in the manual it states fan malfunction & to replace cooling fan. What other things should i check before replacing the fan that might cause this instead of the fan going bad?

Replace waterpump and thermostat with a brand new one . Also u can gain hp by installing a thermostat that operates 20% cooler than others . Goodluck my waterpump / thermostat / coolant flush was 505$ . Check for metal shavings in ur coolant tank

Why would you tell him to replace his water pump and thermostat? He said nothing about the car actually overheating, nothing about a CEL being on. Throwing parts at it wildly is expensive and not necessary.

Already performed coolant flush, but my car is not overheating. Thanks on the info about installing a cooler operating themostat if i need to go that route.

no your fan shoulndt kick on, it'll sound like it for like 20 secs but its actually your secondary air pump running. after awhile your fan should kick on but you're cooling fan shouldnt kick on till it gets up to temp and after awhile. you can check to see if its running correctly by just turning on your and letting it get to temp then giving it some gas, around 2000 rpm for a couple mins, and it'll eventually kick on.
