2004 C240 Replacing Catalytic Converter
Hi, I'm new here and I just wanted to make sure that I'm buying the correct parts.
My cats are broken inside and I was told it would cost 1.5k-2.5k just replace the two pipes. I found the parts online for much cheaper listed here. http://www.mymercedesparts.com/parts...HAUST%20SYSTEM
If you go to page 3 on that site, it shows the left cat converter for $378.48 and the right for $343.62. Are those the correct parts I need and is it the whole cat with piping?

What the difference between the coverter and pipe listed on first page and the catalytic converter which includes the front pipe listed on page 3?
Also why is the right and left converter and pipe listed as #5? shouldn't the right one be #4?

as long as it says left and right you're ok, mymercedesparts knows what theyre doing I've order many of times from them.
If you look at the info on each page, they have them listed for different cars, the 2.6L and 3.2L and on page 3 it list for 240, 320, 32.
If you're so worried about getting the wrong one you can call them up to make sure its the one you need. they have great customer service.
