After only 16000 miles my front left c 230 brake started to squeak. This happens when i come to a stop. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

squeaky brakes are a big problem with the c230. even after getting mine replaced multiple times, they end up squeaking at least 3-4 weeks after. i just deal with it nowadays.

if anyone knows how a permanent fix i'd love to hear it

 

make sure they are bedded in properly and theres nothing like debris or the pad isnt seated right. buy some brake cleaner and clean the rotors and calipers. Ive never had any squeaking in my brakes.if you havent changed them out I recommend getting some akebono pads from tirerack. OEM stopping power and barely any brake dust and they're ceramic.

 

The bed-in procedure by Stoptech is a nice way to ruin new OEM brakes (ask how I know). I know people get stuck on recommending this but it is just not necessary on these cars.

 

I usually do the cruise at 30mph and do gradually stops for 5-10 times then go up to 45mph and do harder quicker stops.
