Thumbs up Thank you Moderators!

OFF TOPIC WARNING....(sort of)
In the past month or so, I've noticed that things have become a little too hostile in this forum. I come here to share and gleen information about the cars I chose, and not to see childish banter and bicker (If I wanted that, I could always subscribe to AOL chat rooms).

With this post, I would like to extend my humble thanks to the moderators (especially MB-Bob & Revstriker) for keeping the order. Unfortunately, sometimes it's necessary to remind all of us of the responsibility we share in keeping our posts subjective, concise and accurate to the intended purpose of this forum.

Well done, gentlemen....well done!

Yes, I have to say that as a six month user of this forum I am very impressed with the moderators' (and members) ability to keep the non-subject banter to a minimum.

We are after all, just interested in info about our W203. We have a common bond, that's why we're all here.

I agree, the mods have done a good job. I am guilty of doing some wrong on here but also it was fair from the mods to point to all the others who thought they were saints that they are just as guilty for replying back. Good job

Just a suggestion for us all....

The "Add [name] to your Ignore list" really works. It will not show posts of the [name] we choose. It takes an extra click to show the posts. If someone is bothering you to the point of expressing anger on a consistent basis, you should use it. And if once you do use this option and still feel the urge to take an extra click to read what this person is saying... you are really at fault as well. This goes for everyone on both sides of the coin. I'm just saying this from my own personal experience.

I really think that this option is there for a reason. And it may restore the civility to the forum.
