Noob LED Questions

I just got a 2005 C230k today and I'm about to order some parts including converting exterior lights to HID & LED. I've had LED and 4300k HID on my previous car and they didn't match the LED's were bluish and the HIDs were slightly green/yellow.

My questions are:
  1. Do all LEDs omit the same 'bluish' lights or are some 'whiter' than others?
  2. Which combo will give me a closer match (LED + 6000k HID) or (OEM parking lights +4300k HID)?

Thanks!

if you want your HID similar with your bluish LED, you can try from 6000k HID and beyond

Thanks bimo2700mf. I think I'll go that route.

you can order leds in different colors, hit up aznoptics, they're a sponsor on here, also with MB you'll need to either get CANBUS HID or take it to a shop that has STAR to convert present to xenon so it wont flicker. also you'll need error cancellor LEDS so they'll work and not throw the code saying the bulb is out. aznoptics sell all these.

Wow! Never knew that LED comes in different colors, hopefully aznoptics has something that matches 4300k HID. Thanks phister for the referral.

wedge is for city lights and interior

festoon is for the license plate bulb and rear dome light

bayonet is for turn signals, reverse, and brake lights. just look at the back end of the bulb end of the bulb and you can see the connection. you can go to sylvania website and it'll list all the bulbs for which area and you can order them accordingly
