PLEASE HELP 2006 c230 coolant visot workshop

I have a 2006 c230 and after having a mechanic replace MAF i get car back and now I'm getting an error code "coolant visit workshop". Somtimes the fan works when car heats up and when ac is on max and other times appears not to work at all under either condition. error code displayed is P0694-Cooling Fan 2 Relay Control Circuit High. I am wanting to sell car and was hoping not to invest alot of money and any help on diagnosis/repair is greatly appreciated.

Check your fuse box and relays.

Coolant Sensor and Washer Sensor in series

The coolant level sensor is wired in series with the window washer fluid level sensor. In theory when one fluid level is low, a resistor is shorted, and the computer can tell which level is low based on the resistance of the other sensor. But it probably would not hurt to top of the washer fluid level to see if that resolves the false intermittent low coolant level warnings.

In the mean time I am having my own problem with false coolant level and washer level warnings, and I have already paid to replace both sensors.
