Hi Guys,


allow me to introduce my self, my name is bimo i'm from jakarta indonesia, last june 2012 i've bought 2003 C180 Kompressor from dealer, its still in good condition with only 30.500 miles / 49.000 km, and this baby passed all of Star Diagnose Test / no malfunction

After few days in my house i couldnt stand with the standard look, so i bought new eibach spring and projection head lamp from eagle eyes



my plan was to put my old AMG CL 19" 8.5J/ET 42 & 9.5J/ET46 to my C180K , the rims had been sitting on my garage for almost 11 years with the toyo tires still installed, so definitely i need new tires to, i bought it cheap tires from local store, you guys wont believe it, i bought 2 pcs 225/35/19 for only usd 95/ pcs & 2 pcs 235/35/19 only for USD 115/ pcs

the next day, i went to local spring shop to have my rims & spring cutted & installed, its not one time job, i have to go to this spring shop twice, the 2nd is a week after i've installed the rims & spring, im not satisfied with the current drop so i went there to cut some more coils

this month ordered elegance chrome bumper strip (all around) , also want to buy usa side marker, but the item is a little bit rare in here

and this picture was taken today while waiting my car to be washed at local car wash

- put mercedes emblem black edition


- order amg style door pin


- install mercedes benz coat hanger


- amg tail pipe

thanks, your car looks awesome too, i want to improve the looks of my rims, wanna look more flush, phister recommend me to put 20 mm spacer & roll my front / rear fender

does any one have DIY guide to roll rear fender, im still confuse about grinding some part of the fender

yeah, thanks for your input, that's the reason why i bought new mercedes benz flat hood & my next plan is debadging all of the emblem except the star logo

Yesterday i've ordered few aftermarket parts for audio & lightning

1. HID Kits from DDM Tuning, bought it 2 sets for my head lamps & fog lamps also bought a set of city LED light from aznoptics.com




2. Found interesting china made double din head unit with android os, the seller claim that it support ipod, dvd, parking camera, gps & also has wifi access point (this is good, so i can connect to internet using my phone data plan)

IMHO, Avantgarde is the luxury model of mercedes benz, you know that w203 comes with 4 types

Classic is the base model, doesn't have many option / add on
Elegance is the full option / feature eg : sunroof, electric seat etc
Sport / AMG is the sport model, different engine, bodykit etc
Avantgarde is the luxurious model, comes with every options in the elegance model plus some add on

i think C220 CDI is made for european region? the model has blue efficiency (better MPG)

There is three trim levels. Each country options their cars differently.

Classic is the standard with no option.
Elegance is the luxury trim.
Avantgarde is the sport trim with sport suspension etc.

Depends on your country AMG kit can be added to all three trim or not. I.e. In the US we got the so called "sport" with the AMG kit on the c230. It is in fact a Avantgarde trimmed car with AMG kit with no options.

i'm newbie in audio installation, dont know what to do with it, maybe i"ll search the forum should be a DIY tutorial for installing head unit, the problem is when i bought this car, its already equipped with soundstream power & twin 10" sony xplode subwoofer, i think the installation would be different from the standard one

if you have the OEM then most likely the previous owner used a hi/lo converter to do his system. this is a normal if you want to keep your OEM HU but want to add a sub. all the converter does is tap into the rear speaker/or OEM sub wires and then you dial in the crossover and you attach your sub RCAs to the converter then run it to the amp. heres what one looks like
