New Kid on the block

Hi there... introduce me, im Fari from jakarta, Indonesia. been monitoring for long time about the w203 a.k.a peanut eyes forum (that's what they call in my country). and wow... you guys really have a cool and awesome w203. ok then, here's the historical moments of my ride:

Bought c320 avant garde year 2001 with full options (which is a bit rare in my country for c320 avant garde spec). i have it since 1,5 years ago

Still in standard mode,,, i was trying to fit in with carlsson 1/12 19" (hmm..but it doesn't seems right)

Browsing around the net...so i have decided to modified with AMG style...
AMG badge
AMG Grill badge
front AMG hood badge
AMG door pin
Side L+R Amg badge (take out the side avantgarde badges)
19" AMG 447 CLS style wheels - hyper silver - offset 35 9.5 rear & 8,5 front
with eibach pro kit springs

I hope they didnt put your car in the magazine because of your poser badge thinking it is a c32.

Why would you put amg on a car that isnt an amg . Its not hand assembled by 1 mechanic . Go to youtube and watch a few amg tribute videos. You will see what im saying

Well.... It said on the magazine that a C320 avantgarde, are trying to become a c32 amg . In my country there's alot of benz enthusiast are modifying their rides to be as the same spec / options as the tuner's (amg, brabus, carlsson, lorinser).

It's definitely a poser, maybe because they arent any genuine tuner's spec that sold in my country (people have to do special import car order to do that, and usually order from singapore, australia/japan or maybe much further like u.k)

So,,, need your input. Should i continue with my plans (become a c32 amg wanna be) or i change the style?

Im open for inputs

The new headlights will be the best mod you will ever do for your car IMO. It makes it look a lot newer and just over all nicer

debadge everything and keep it clean and simple. thats my opinion. I removed all my badges and it just lets you focus on the styling and body lines of the car.

well keep this in mind: it will never be a c32. think about it. are you willing to do an engine swap? probably not. and even if you did, you dont even stop there. there's so much more to do and in the end it wont even be close to worth the price you paid, especially where you live.

dont try to make it a c32. make it something special and unique. something you'd be proud of driving. i wouldnt be able to deal with the stress of wondering if people around me know im frauding. what if youre challenged to a race by an m3? you'd embarrass all real amg owners. and your mechanic? he'll know, and he'll tell his friends. i could go on and on.

Its not a big deal to put amg parts on it. Its just not a good idea to (badge) it as a AMG. Nice wheels!

One more recommendation is a trunk spoiler. JBspeed here on the forum sells them for 110 painted and shipped. I am not sure if its the same price to ship it to your country but it really adds a lot to the rear of the car.

if you are going to stick the AMG kit on the car that is fine, but the "C32" part of the badge is posing. the "AMG" part is just a tuner badge.

yeah im gonna agree with this. the c32 badge is straight up fraud but i feel like if you have a pretty much full blown amg bodykit with all the little accessories then sure why not, leave the amg badge on. i know others will disagree with this but its my opinion.

Debadge it. You don't have a c32 AMG to even think about leaving it on the car. Wheels look nice though
