Hi all,

I have a 2003 C230 Coupe, the pano roof closes fine but will not open more than about 6 inches back.

I used the roof today and when I went to close it it sounded like something came loose. I noticed underneath the wind deflector in front a small spring, about 1.5 inches was laying towards the front of the car.

Now, when I open the roof, the roof will slide back a few inches- then the wind deflector goes back down, and the roof will not open any more.

I didn't see anyone with these exact symptoms on previous threads... anyone have some insight on this?
