new to the board.. have problems :(
Good looking board guys!
Well I bought a 2005 c230k for the wife as a "yeah we just got out of debt lets get back in" gift. Test drove the crap out it... nice, fun little car. take the car home and after a few days the car misfires... read the code p0301. ok lets find out why.. check your board, simple fix is to change around the coil packs and see if the misfire follows.. problem is when I took off the cylinder one pack it was covered in oil
what so I do know? how does oil get in there? I have a aftermarket warranty for it, So I will probably take it in but why is it there?
Thanks guys!

Thanks! Looks like the one around the spark plug hole is/was/going bad. It looks more like dirty water than oil. I think when the dealer washed the engine they got to much water in and around the gasket and it shorted the plug. cleaned it out and she runs fine now. Just have to keep an eye on it!
